Jubilee Farm Wedding | Jay and Mary

Jubilee Farm Wedding

It was the middle of November for Jay and Mary's wedding at Jubilee Farm and the colors were still vibrant! As I drove south from Northern Virginia to Southern Maryland the autumn colors continued to brighten; it got me excited to shoot this awesome wedding at Jubilee!

Jubilee Farm is such a unique venue. It sits right along a river and has everything from a bridal suite cabin, to a vineyard, docks along the water, a barn reception area, and a ceremony site overlooking the water. It's loaded with awesome places for photos!

The day started with images of the ladies getting ready together in the cabin. During that time it was clear that flower girl Julia was stealing the show! Julia, and Mary's son, Bruce were just two of the many adorable kids at this wedding.

As you'll see in the photos, Jay and Mary are two diehard Marylanders! With Maryland bowties, socks, and shoes, they rocked their Maryland pride. Other details from the day that I loved included their array of old books that were mounted and decorated beautifully as a seating chart. But what stood out the most was the incredible donut table! Instead of a traditional cake, Jay and Mary decided to have a table full of donuts and donut holes. It was a sight to behold.

From the epic dancing to the touching portraits, this was a perfect day in so many ways. Jay and Mary are establishing life together and I was honored to be there to capture it all. Enjoy the highlights below!
