Harpers Ferry Engagement Session | John and Diane
I've hiked into it, I've biked beside it, I've canoed around it, and I've explored through it. I've even shot a family session there! Harpers Ferry is a favorite place of mine, so I was really excited to finally got to shoot an engagement session there!
Harpers Ferry, West Virginia, is a truly unique place. It is a quaint town nestled between mountains and wedged between the Potomac and Shenandoah rivers. It is a place that has a 100 year flood much more often than every 100 years. It's a place full of history, and for John and Diane that history includes the place where John asked her to spend the rest of her life with him. Because it held so much meaning, it was perfect for their engagement session.
We walked the streets, enjoying the old brick and stone buildings, the small walkways and alleys, capturing fun, casual, authentic images as we went. The bridge over the Potomac River was a favorite spot where we spent much of our time. Enjoy their photo story below!
