Luray Engagement Session | Tanner and Lauran

I grew up loving the outdoors, doing a lot of backpacking and hiking in the Shenandoah and along the Appalachian Trail in the tri-state area. It's always fun for me when I get to share that love of the outdoors with an awesome couple like Tanner and Lauran.

Tanner and Lauran's engagement session started at the crack of dawn on a chilly Shenandoah morning at the top of the mountains in Luray. The sun crested over low lying clouds as we walked toward the view at Little Stony Man Overlook. Our path to the incredible view was covered in beautiful newly fallen leaves, made a little slick by the morning dew.

It was Tanner's job to keep Lauran warm as the wind whipped over the western side of the mountain. This was no easy session, it was downright cold at times! I'm just glad we were able to sneak in a fall engagement session that still featured color in the mountains late in the fall. Enjoy my favorites below and get excited for their wedding next year!
