Westin Georgetown Wedding | Scott and Madelaine

The two words that came to mind as I was going over Scott and Madelaine’s wedding photos were classy and fun. It was the perfect mix throughout the day, from the ceremony at St. Matthews to the packed dance floor reception at the Westin Georgetown!

Their wedding day started out with prep photos at the Westin Georgetown in Washington DC. From there we took a short drive to the Cathedral of St. Matthew the Apostle, a gorgeous and huge Catholic church. This place has sentimental value for many in the family as it was the church where Madelaine’s sister was married and where her grandparents renewed their vows.

After the ceremony we made a quick stop for photos in Georgetown then it was back to the Westin for the cocktail and reception and what a reception it was! The speeches and parent dances brought tears while the music took everyone off their seats and jumping on the dance floor! Even grandma cut loose! When they weren’t dancing you could find many enjoying a cigar out at the courtyard.
