Peter and Elizabeth | Arlington Wedding & Fort Belvoir Reception

When I first saw the weather forecast for Peter and Elizabeth’s wedding I thought for sure that we would have to be inside all day. In some ways that really wasn’t a problem, as the wedding was being held in a beautiful church, the Cathedral of Saint Thomas More in Arlington. This church sanctuary had a tall vaulted ceiling, richly colored stained glass windows and plenty of angles for me to shoot all around the space. It’s not often you see buildings like this!

But fortunately the rain stopped in the afternoon, just in time for some portraits around the reception at the Officers Club at Fort Belvoir. It was a laid back and fun time for to capture Peter and Elizabeth’s joy of finally being married after years of dating! This was an incredible celebration and I was blessed to be a part of it all. Enjoy some of my favorites from their wedding below!

Thank you to these incredible vendors for helping make this an amazing wedding!

Meet Rob Jinks

I don’t take it lightly when you invite me into your story.

After 10+ years and hundreds of weddings, this remains true: it all starts with trust, connection, and a shared belief that this really matters.

Whether we’re hiking through Shenandoah, gathering with your people downtown, or in the backyard of a beloved home, I’m there to notice what’s sacred and make it last. I aim to capture the kind of photographs that don’t just look beautiful, but genuinely reflect you and the life you’re creating.
