Summer Wedding at Piedmont Country Club

I’m thinking back to Brian and Kathryn’s wedding at Piedmont Country Club this summer, remembering all the little in-between moments the most.

Kathryn’s grandmother’s wide smile when she first saw her that day.

Brian and Kathryn getting to share quiet moments during their portrait time, before guests arrived and things really got going.

The way Kathryn hugged her sister after her maid of honor speech.

Kathryn shared that “there were little things, like my sister taking the time to bustle up my dress, and when we were able to just stop and take a breath, share some appetizers, and enjoy our first drink as a couple. When we finally sat down and had dinner and we could just breathe and think ‘wow, we’re so glad we had the opportunity to have this wedding and have so many people come celebrate with us.’ It was really fun watching all these friend groups and family members from different parts of our story all come together, and it was wonderful to be able to see that and experience it.”

I was so glad to hear this, knowing that they got to experience everything the day held.

To me a wedding is about the people, the promises and the celebration. The images below feel full of that story and a legacy they will share for their lifetime.

Thank you Brian and Kathryn for inviting me in!
