Autumn Along Falling Waters Road

filed under:

Personal

It is a beautiful place throughout the year, but Falling Waters road in western Maryland is stunning in the autumn. My Grandfather-in-law Archie Snyder has lived along this road for nearly all of his life, and I can only image the wonderful seasons that he has experienced there.

The clouds were heavy the day I was visiting Mr. Snyder, but the colors were vibrant. I wanted to pass on the feeling of a crisp and cold fall day in front of his home with this photo story.

Enjoy the images below, enjoy their stories, and enjoy this wonderful and quickly vanishing time of year.

Meet Rob Jinks

I don’t take it lightly when you invite me into your story.

After 10+ years and hundreds of weddings, this remains true: it all starts with trust, connection, and a shared belief that this really matters.

Whether we’re hiking through Shenandoah, gathering with your people downtown, or in the backyard of a beloved home, I’m there to notice what’s sacred and make it last. I aim to capture the kind of photographs that don’t just look beautiful, but genuinely reflect you and the life you’re creating.
