Old Rag Mountain

Personal

I’ve done quite a bit of hiking along the Appalachian Trail and in areas along the east coast, but without a doubt Old Rag mountain in the Shenandoah National Forest is and has remained one of my favorite hikes. No other hike in this area has such extensive bouldering and such incredible lasting scenery; the views just never stop! For the east coast, this is a top notch hike.

Have you been up the mountain? If so, what’s your favorite aspect of the hike? Leave a comment below, and enjoy the images!

I don’t take it lightly when you invite me into your story.

After 10+ years and hundreds of weddings, this remains true: it all starts with trust, connection, and a shared belief that this really matters.

Whether we’re hiking through Shenandoah, gathering with your people downtown, or in the backyard of a beloved home, I’m there to notice what’s sacred and make it last. I aim to capture the kind of photographs that don’t just look beautiful, but genuinely reflect you and the life you’re creating.
