Manassas Civil War Weekend

Personal

It’s not often that I have the opportunity to photography such a diverse set of reenactors and events related to the Civil War. The Civil War Weekend, hosted by the City of Manassas, was an great event held around the Manassas junction and the Manassas Museum. Reenactors went around Main Street on parade, held artillery demonstrations, camped in front of the museum, and much more.

I was impressed by the size of the event, the number of reenactors, and their skill for authenticity and detail. Enjoy the images below from from the Saturday portion of the event, and be sure to check out Prince William Living, the magazine for which I photographed this event.

I don’t take it lightly when you invite me into your story.

After 10+ years and hundreds of weddings, this remains true: it all starts with trust, connection, and a shared belief that this really matters.

Whether we’re hiking through Shenandoah, gathering with your people downtown, or in the backyard of a beloved home, I’m there to notice what’s sacred and make it last. I aim to capture the kind of photographs that don’t just look beautiful, but genuinely reflect you and the life you’re creating.
