Andrew and Courtney were another amazing couple to work with, I loved photographing their wedding at River Farm in Alexandria this past weekend!

But first the day started out with Courtney and the ladies in her family family getting ready at the nearby Embassy Suites. This was a totally different feel from the wedding later that afternoon. The hotel gave me a chance for darker, low-key lifestyle photos, which meant it was a stark change once we started shooting in the lush garden areas at River Farm along the Potomac River.

River Farm is the headquarters of the American Horticultural Society and a beautiful place for a wedding! The actual ceremony was surrounded by blooming flowers, an expansive garden, and an overall relaxed feeling away from the hustle of Washington DC and Alexandria.
