 Wedding at Belmont country club

It was a chilly autumn day for David and Karina’s wedding at Belmont Country Club. This was the first shoot of the year where I was glad to have my gloves with me! But hearts were warm and everyone was excited to celebrate these families becoming one. During his welcome speech David remarked that “you know who your friends are when you freeze together during your ceremony!”

Because of the cold we did more portraits than normal inside of Belmont. Fortunately they have a beautiful interior with a lavish bridal suite. It was there that we caught wonderful moments as Karina finished putting on her dress. But I especially enjoyed David and his guys getting ready in their room, complete with a pool table, wood accents, and a moody interior that was well lit with windows on three sides.

When it came time for the ceremony we were all excited for something unique. It was time for Karina, her mom, and her son Alex to come into the ceremony on a horse drawn carriage! From then on we all withstood the cold while enjoying David and Karina’s adorable expressions and reactions during their vows.

Back at the reception that evening we heard multiple passionate speeches. Alex, Karina’s son and David’s best man, spoke about his love and admiration for David. Karina’s sister and maid of honor shed tears of joy during her speech recounting special times they had together. Following the speeches the night was full of lively music from the local DC Transit band while people danced and shared memories together.

Thank you for the incredible team who brought this wedding together, see their details at the bottom of the post!
