Wedding at 48 Fields in Leesburg, Virginia
You can’t ask for a better day.
Bret and Erin’s late summer wedding ate 48 Fields in Leesburg, Virginia, was exactly what they had hoped for. It was a time of deep connection, laughter, and making memories with their most treasured friends and family.
I loved catching the little things throughout the day, like Bret fiddling with his ring after the ceremony, or short but sweet conversation between Erin and her grandfather.
There were big moments too, ones that really hit you. Like when Bret put on his father’s necklace. This was a gift to him from his father who was dealing with health issues that prevented him from attending. It was a powerful way to carry his father with him on his wedding day.
Another moment for me was their first dance and parent dances. Erin and her Dad; Bret and his mom. These were dances that turned into hugs, as memories washed over them of the years gone by, years of support and love through all aspects of life. It was wonderful to see such a strong family connection
I’m grateful. Grateful to have been a part of their day, to have been able to document such powerful moments that will only grow in importance as time moves on.
