Great Falls Engagement Session | Chris and Clare

Engagement

One of the things I love hearing from my clients is how much fun they have at their engagement sessions, and Chris and Clare’s session was no different! It’s always fun when a couples’s story doesn’t include just them, but also the people they love most; in this case, their kids! Chris and Clare wanted to make their engagement also be a family session and have the opportunity to share the outdoors with their two adorable children.

The day of their engagement session at Great Falls followed a few days of heavy rain, so the water level was extremely high and was a powerful sight to see. I loved exploring around the visitor center with them, hiking the canal to the Maryland side overlook, and seeing the incredible surge of the water. We enjoyed a time of playful fun and photos, and I cannot wait to photograph their wedding coming next month! Enjoy their photo story below!

Meet Rob Jinks

I don’t take it lightly when you invite me into your story.

After 10+ years and hundreds of weddings, this remains true: it all starts with trust, connection, and a shared belief that this really matters.

Whether we’re hiking through Shenandoah, gathering with your people downtown, or in the backyard of a beloved home, I’m there to notice what’s sacred and make it last. I aim to capture the kind of photographs that don’t just look beautiful, but genuinely reflect you and the life you’re creating.
