Luray Virginia Wedding | Chris and Gina in the Shenandoah

Wedding

Chris and Gina’s wedding day was the last wedding of the season in the Shenandoah National Park at Skyland Resort. Theirs was a beautiful wedding in the lodge dining room, a rustic wood room surrounded with windows and overlooking the valley.

The setting was perfect for Chris and Gina with their love for the Shenandoah. We made sure to capture some epic sunset portraits not far away at an overlook and wow did we get some amazing light! I love that we can capture such stunning landscape portraits on a day with this much importance. To me it is the best picture of how incredible this day really is, it is the beautiful beginning of the rest of their lives.

One of the most unique parts of this wedding were the pinatas! Yes there was one pinata for the kids and one for the adults! I’ve never seen people have so much fun hitting something! It was a great wrap-up to an already fun wedding reception.

I don’t take it lightly when you invite me into your story.

After 10+ years and hundreds of weddings, this remains true: it all starts with trust, connection, and a shared belief that this really matters.

Whether we’re hiking through Shenandoah, gathering with your people downtown, or in the backyard of a beloved home, I’m there to notice what’s sacred and make it last. I aim to capture the kind of photographs that don’t just look beautiful, but genuinely reflect you and the life you’re creating.
