 Manassas National Battlefield Engagement Sunrise

Not many engagements start with a run. In fact, this was my first!

Nick, Jocelyn, and I pulled into the Manassas National Battlefield Park right as the sky was turning red with morning light. Jocelyn was actually the one who suggested we run to the location we wanted to be at to get these first few shots with the sunrise! That set the tone for the rest of the engagement, this was going to a fun time!

The only downside to the morning was the chill, it was just above freezing! But through it all I was having so much fun photographing a couple that is incredibly sweet together. Nick and Jocelyn kept each other laughing, smiling, and dancing around the park all morning!

Enjoy these few highlights from their Manassas Battlefield engagement session below!

I don’t take it lightly when you invite me into your story.

After 10+ years and hundreds of weddings, this remains true: it all starts with trust, connection, and a shared belief that this really matters.

Whether we’re hiking through Shenandoah, gathering with your people downtown, or in the backyard of a beloved home, I’m there to notice what’s sacred and make it last. I aim to capture the kind of photographs that don’t just look beautiful, but genuinely reflect you and the life you’re creating.
