Ever since I photographed Paul and Shannon for their engagement session I could not wait to photograph their wedding! They are one of the most genuine and kind couples I’ve ever worked with.
Paul and Shannon were married in the Shenandoah National Park at Skyland Resort, an absolutely beautiful place for a wedding! I started off the day capturing candid shots of Shannon getting ready with her girls and Paul with his guys. My two favorite moments that morning were Shannon and her mom’s big smiles as they put her veil on, and Paul tearing up as he read a touching letter from Shannon.
It was a beautiful midday ceremony in the amphitheater at Skyland, followed by a reception at the Conference Hall. After the reception we made a trek up to Little Stony Man, only to be met by torrential rain! We got pretty wet, but we were able to capture some dramatic shots from that amazing vantage point!
