Alex and Will’s wedding day will go down as one of the best! We had a stunningly beautiful Catholic church, a modern and sophisticated reception along the Georgetown waterfront, a reception party that rivaled any I’ve seen! To top it all off are Alex and Will themselves; two wonderfully kind and caring people who have deep faith and a tender care for each other, their friends, and family.
These two were skeptical of online dating, neither fully believing that an app by the name of “Coffee Meets Bagel” would be the thing that introduced them to their lifelong partner. But in 2017 that is exactly what happened. From the beers they drank and the faith they shared, they knew things were different with each other. A little over a year later they were engaged at Notre Dame, Alex’s alma mater!
When it came time to plan for the wedding, they knew they wanted a classic Catholic ceremony. “We are very excited to get married at St. Ann’s Catholic Church. Although it is not our home parish, we were drawn to the beauty of its architecture. We want our faith to play a pivotal role in our marriage and future family, so having our ceremony in a beautiful Catholic Church was a must-have.” From there, deciding on Sequoia in Georgetown for their reception was easy with it’s modern appeal and delicious food!
