This winter has been a joy to experience. It was a chance to rest, meet couples for weddings in 2019 and 2020 and enjoy time with family. The only downside is that I usually have a small gap without weddings. I was excited to photograph the wedding of Nate and Amy at the Four Seasons Hotel in Washington DC and get back into regular weekend adventures!
Although neither Nate or Amy have lived in downtown DC, they knew they wanted to have a DC wedding at the Four Seasons. Besides being convenient in many ways, Amy expressed how it was the perfect mix of “classy, modern, and elegant.” And of course their amazing food doesn’t hurt either!
From Connecticut and New York for Nate to South Carolina and Georgia for Amy, this is an adventurous couple who have traveled far in life to find a love for each other. Each of them looks to their parents strong marriages as role models for their own, so it was important as always for me to capture those special moments with family.
I have to give a big shoutout to my good friend Ari Jones with ARJ Productions for bringing together a meticulously well planned day, and for DJ Romin with Zandi Entertainment for creating the best reception atmosphere! It was an energetic and packaged dance floor! Of course we can never have such a wonderful day without the help of all the vendors, so be sure to check out the great people who were involved and enjoy the photos below!
