 Wedding at L'Auberge Chez Francois

When Sumit and Lindsay first described L’Auberge Chez François to me, they called it “romantic, cozy, and special.” I could tell they held this place close to their hearts, as it was their first date spot in Virginia. For a couple who love fine dining, this was the perfect place to host their wedding!

L’Auberge Chez François is a classic French restaurant in Great Falls, Virginia. It is truly an experience. The meal is top rated (ask me about the lobster bisque), the service makes you feel pampered, and as their photographer I had endless areas for great portraits. Inside it is cozy and moody, with dramatic light coming through stained glass windows. Outside is an extensive and lush garden area that wraps around the restaurant. Even with the overcast rainy day it was easy to guide them to great portraits, helping them feel at ease and ready to enjoy this time together in a very natural manner.

My goal was to freeze the feeling and emotions of the day so that Sumit, Lindsay and their family and friends could reach back to those feelings even decades from now. Sumit and Lindsay’s kindness to me and never-ending smiles are something I’ll never forget, thank you both for bringing me into your story and wedding at L’Auberge Chez François!
