“I’ve never seen my mom cry before.”
“The flower girl said this was the best day of her life.”
“There’s too many great ones, how will we choose?”
Those are just a few sentiments John and Jenna expressed at their reveal celebration. As I unveiled their images to them in person the memories started pouring back in.
The first dance with his mom where he could see exactly how much she loves him.
The memories with her Dad throughout the day, seeing how tender and proud he was of her.
The little side stories that they never even saw on the day but get to experience now.

This is why I love my job. I get to give back stories of what they experienced, some they didn’t know happened, all of which they can’t wait to relive with their family and friends.
Their wedding in Alexandria, Virginia, took us from the waterfront Hotel Indigo, via a trolley bus, to nearby Christ Church and back to Cooper Mill for the reception. Through it all they wanted to be fully present, have a good time, and let their experience drive the images, not the other way around. They wanted uninterrupted fun and that was a perfect fit for what I do best.
Thank you Jenna, John, and all your family and friends for welcoming me into your story!

And a big thank you to the wedding coordinator, Amanda, who brought it all together with this team!
