The Winery at Lost Creek | Alex and Carrie’s Wedding Day

Wedding

If there’s one thing I love, it’s having a wedding all in one place. Getting ready, ceremony, cocktail hour, reception; having it all in one location is a dream. That was the dream we had with Alex and Carrie’s wedding held on the lawn of the Harvest House on the grounds of The Winery At Lost Creek.

Alex and Carrie are two wonderful people to photograph. My goal was to capture their authentic love for each other, including their playful and tender moments together. They certainly were not afraid to share their emotions in front of the camera and that made for some incredible photos below. More than just each other, Alex and Carrie made sure to include their friends and family in the wedding day. What impressed me most was when almost everyone hit the reception dance floor! I’ve never seen such a diverse range of people dancing!

I loved photographing Alex and Carrie around the Harvest House. It is a very comfortable, quaint old style home just north of Leesburg with plenty of room for the cocktail hour on the back patio and reception next door in the large hall. This home and the vineyard right next door were the perfect backdrop to create memories.

Enjoy these highlights below! Thanks Alex and Carrie for having me capture your day, I wish you both the best in your marriage!

A big thanks to these awesome vendors who helped make this day possible!

I don’t take it lightly when you invite me into your story.

After 10+ years and hundreds of weddings, this remains true: it all starts with trust, connection, and a shared belief that this really matters.

Whether we’re hiking through Shenandoah, gathering with your people downtown, or in the backyard of a beloved home, I’m there to notice what’s sacred and make it last. I aim to capture the kind of photographs that don’t just look beautiful, but genuinely reflect you and the life you’re creating.
