What can I say about Brandi and Steven except that they are two great people? Their engagement session could hardly be called work, this was hanging out with two friends I had just met! Actually, I met Brandi at a previous wedding last year, so I knew she was awesome. I had to get to know Steven during the session but it was as easy as talking to a friend. They’re both easy to be around and are clearly perfect together.

They choose to have their photos at the Jefferson Memorial in DC not just because it is a beautiful place, but also because it is where they were engaged! Steven asked Brandi to marry him right along the waterfront, so coming back to the same location was very sentimental for both of them.

Their wedding is coming up next summer and I could not be more excited to celebrate with them and capture their story! Enjoy the highlights from their session below!

Meet Rob Jinks

I don’t take it lightly when you invite me into your story.

After 10+ years and hundreds of weddings, this remains true: it all starts with trust, connection, and a shared belief that this really matters.

Whether we’re hiking through Shenandoah, gathering with your people downtown, or in the backyard of a beloved home, I’m there to notice what’s sacred and make it last. I aim to capture the kind of photographs that don’t just look beautiful, but genuinely reflect you and the life you’re creating.
